SOFIS Welcomes Delegation from Kunsan National University, Republic of Korea

On June 30, 2026, South Pacific Fishery Co., Ltd. (SOFIS) was pleased to welcome a delegation from Kunsan National University, Republic of Korea, for an educational visit to our seafood processing facility. The delegation included approximately 35–40 participants, comprising professors, students, representatives from VNC, interpreters, and SOFIS staff.

During the visit, the delegation was introduced to SOFIS’s operations, modern seafood processing technologies, and our commitment to producing high-quality products for global markets.

Participants toured the production facilities and learned about our strict quality control procedures, food safety management system, and international certifications, including BRCGS Food Safety Issue 9, HACCP, FDA Registration, FSMA, EU Approval (DL472), GACC Registration, MSC CoC, and ASC CoC.

The visit provided students with valuable industry insights while strengthening the connection between academia and the seafood industry.

We were also pleased to learn more about Kunsan National University and its educational vision. A memorable highlight of the visit was the opportunity to taste a variety of Korean seafood products generously shared by the delegation. This enjoyable experience further strengthened the cultural exchange and friendship between our two organizations.
